Shapeshifters Cinema is a monthly series featuring experimental filmmakers and video artists presenting moving image work live with accompaniment from musicians and sound artists. Beginning in January 2013, Shapeshifters will take place the second Sunday of every month (generally speaking), from 8 to 9pm (unless otherwise noted) at Temescal Art Center in North Oakland. Shows are free. Shapeshifters is curated by Gilbert Guerrero and Kathleen Quillian.

Deborah Karp is working on a new dance with performers Janet Das, Brittney Delaney, Hallie Dalsimer and Romina Rodriguez-Crosta.
